Data we collect
- Enquiry form: name, email address, optional engagement interest, optional quarter/reporting date, and message content
- Correspondence: emails and call notes related to scoping and delivery
- Technical: limited server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the site
- Cookies: as described in our Cookies notice
We do not ask for identity card numbers, bank passwords, or other highly sensitive credentials through the public website form.
Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare engagement letters, deliver contracted review work, meet legal and professional record-keeping duties, and improve site reliability. Where Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) applies, we rely on purposes directly related to these functions and on consent where cookies beyond essentials are used.
Retention
- Enquiry messages without a resulting engagement: typically up to 24 months
- Client engagement files: retained for the period required by professional and legal obligations, commonly at least seven years after engagement end unless a longer period is required
- Server logs: typically 90 days, unless needed longer to investigate security incidents
Sharing
We share personal data with service providers who host email or site infrastructure under confidentiality arrangements, with professional advisers when required, and with authorities when legally compelled. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some infrastructure providers may process data outside Hong Kong. Where transfers occur, we take steps appropriate under the PDPO to protect the data, including contractual safeguards with providers.
Your rights
Subject to the PDPO, you may request access to personal data we hold about you and correction of inaccurate data. Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS) where supported by the host, and least-privilege practices for engagement files. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive attachments through the public form.

Our services are directed to businesses and adult finance professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site.
